Shame for Europe for FCSB! Crushed by Auda after 7-3 on aggregate, the red-blues leave Conference League in the first round

Romanian champions FCSB have crashed out of the Conference League in the very first preliminary round, suffering a comprehensive 4-1 defeat away to FK Auda. The aggregate scoreline of 7-3 sealed their exit from the competition.

The Latvian side secured their victory through a brace from Diedhiou, complemented by goals from Kone and Hrvoj. This decisive second-leg performance followed FCSB's 2-3 loss at home in the first leg, which had already put their qualification hopes in jeopardy.

FCSB started the match with determination, creating early chances. Daniel Bîrligea had a goal disallowed for offside in the 4th minute, and he missed a one-on-one opportunity in the 23rd minute. Despite controlling much of the first half, FCSB conceded just before halftime when Diedhiou capitalized on a defensive error.

In the second half, FCSB equalized in the 59th minute through Joao Paulo's header from an Octavian Popescu corner. However, the momentum shifted dramatically in the final stages. Auda regained the lead via Diedhiou, Kader Kone added a fourth goal in the 84th minute, and Hrvoj sealed the win with a spectacular free-kick in stoppage time.

FCSB players appealed for two penalties during the second half, but the referee did not award either. The early elimination represents a significant disappointment for the Romanian club in their European campaign.
