Sheikh Khaled Chairs Meeting of ADNOC Board Executive Committee

Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and chairman of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council, chaired a meeting of the Executive Committee of ADNOC’s Board of Directors at the company’s headquarters in Abu Dhabi.

The meeting examined ADNOC’s efforts to maintain reliable energy supplies amid recent developments affecting maritime navigation in the region. Sheikh Khaled also reviewed the company’s operational and financial performance as it serves customers in the United Arab Emirates and international markets.

He received a briefing on ADNOC’s global liquefied natural gas marketing and trading platform, which the company launched in July. The platform represents a significant milestone in the sector, according to the report.

ADNOC is targeting 47 million tonnes per annum of marketable LNG beyond 2030 through the platform. The company says it will give customers more diverse supply sources and improve their access to ADNOC’s expanding gas portfolio.
