Shila Amzah apologizes for concert technical issues, cites factors beyond her control

Malaysian singer Shila Amzah has apologized for several technical shortcomings that marred her "Konsert Shila Amzah Kita 25 Tahun" at the Arena of Stars, Resorts World Genting. The 37-year-old artist acknowledged issues with sound quality and the absence of lyrics on the LED screen, stating these were beyond her team's control.

In a Threads post, Shila expressed her regret to attendees who experienced these problems. "To those who faced issues before the concert began, unsatisfactory sound, and the LED behind not displaying lyrics, I beg for your forgiveness," she wrote. She emphasized that despite her team's best efforts behind the scenes, the final presentation on stage was outside their purview.

While expressing her disappointment, Shila hinted at underlying frustrations regarding the concert's execution. She urged all involved parties to learn from the experience and implement necessary improvements. "Every concert, we want to give our best. But honestly, there's too much that cannot be put into words," she stated, adding, "I want to apologize very, very much for any shortcomings you felt."

The singer also mentioned that some of her family members had to be moved to seats at the back of the venue. Previously, concertgoers had voiced their dissatisfaction on social media regarding seating arrangements and the sound system. Despite these issues, fans were reportedly entertained by Shila's performance of around 40 songs, which also featured guest artists Mimifly and Hael Husaini. A special segment honored music legends Sudirman Arshad, Michael Jackson, and Fish Leong.
