Sigra, Terios, and Gran Max Get Refreshed at GIIAS 2026, Targeting Families and Commercial Use

PT Astra Daihatsu Motor is leveraging the Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS) 2026 to unveil refreshed versions of three key models: the New Astra Daihatsu Sigra, the Terios Special Edition, and a new variant of the Gran Max Blind Van. These updates are part of Daihatsu's strategy to enhance its product lineup for both family consumers and commercial businesses.

The most significant updates are applied to the New Astra Daihatsu Sigra, particularly its 1.2 R variant, available in both manual and automatic transmissions. This seven-seater low-cost green car (LCGC) now boasts a sportier exterior, targeting first-time car buyers seeking a more dynamic family vehicle. Exterior changes include two-tone color options, a black shark fin antenna, red accents on the grille, a new front bumper design, redesigned wheels, and a rear spoiler. The interior features red accents on the dashboard and door trim, along with a new head unit supporting Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. The New Sigra 1.2 R is priced from Rp 173.2 million to Rp 195.9 million.

Daihatsu also introduced the Terios Special Edition, a limited production run of 20 units based on the Terios 1.5 X A/T. This SUV features a two-tone color scheme with a black roof, new side stickers, dark chrome "D" emblems, black gloss wheels, and black side mirrors and door handles. Inside, it receives silver accents on the center cluster and air conditioning vents, with black metallic trim around the transmission bezel. A rear camera is included for parking assistance. The Terios Special Edition is priced at Rp 264.35 million.

For the commercial vehicle segment, Daihatsu is introducing the Gran Max Blind Van 1.5 M/T AC PS as a more affordable option. This variant is powered by a 1.500cc Dual VVT-i engine producing 97 HP and 134 Nm of torque. Enhancements for driver comfort include Electronic Power Steering, an Intermittent Wiper, and 14-inch wheels. The launch of these updated models at GIIAS 2026 underscores Daihatsu's commitment to offering diverse and appealing options across different market segments in Indonesia.
