Sinaloan influencer Adriana García dies after alleged cosmetic surgery

Adriana García, a 30-year-old content creator from Culiacán, Sinaloa, has died, with local media reporting complications from a cosmetic surgery procedure as the suspected cause. The official cause of death has not yet been confirmed by authorities.

García was a popular figure in Sinaloa, sharing content focused on lifestyle, travel, and beauty tips with a significant online following. She boasted over 47,000 followers on Instagram and more than 45,000 on TikTok. Her work included collaborations with the digital store Drop Shop, which sells caps, clothing, watches, and luxury accessories. García created promotional videos and generated advertising for the brand, which has branches in several Mexican cities.

Drop Shop confirmed her passing on social media, remembering her "human quality, dedication, and the moments we shared." Colleagues and friends also expressed their grief online, with messages like "We love you Adri, always in our hearts" and "What sad news, rest in peace Adriana."

The Secretary of Health for Sinaloa, Cuitláhuac González Galindo, stated that the department lacked official information but would conduct an investigation. García leaves behind a six-year-old daughter, Gabriela, whom she often featured on her social media.
