Authorities have dismantled a drug trafficking ring that operated in western Attica, arresting three men including the alleged leader and a psychologist.

The operation, which involved police raiding a house in Chaidari used as a drug storage facility, also uncovered the involvement of a popular folk singer. The singer is implicated through intercepted communications with the alleged ringleader, where she reportedly ordered drugs.

One of the intercepted conversations includes the singer telling the alleged leader, "Make it a good one, yesterday's was a bit bitter, man." She further elaborated, "I don't know, it was very bitter, brother. It wasn't like the others you brought, the previous ones."

Investigators found that the group adapted their drug delivery methods to suit their clients. Some customers collected their orders from the leader's home, while others had their packages prepared by the "brain" of the operation and sent via mail. Members of the ring took anti-surveillance measures and maintained a stable customer base. The psychologist, known by the nickname "doctor," allegedly supplied the 41-year-old leader with pill-form narcotics.

During their communications, the involved parties used coded phrases such as "bring a good one," "the usual," and "add a little gift" to avoid detection by authorities. The case is now in the hands of the judiciary, with the collected evidence, including conversations and recorded transactions, expected to be a key part of the ongoing investigation.
