Sithelo Shozi celebrates lobola in style, officially off the market

Durban-born socialite and media personality Sithelo Shozi has officially marked her transition to being off the market with a vibrant lobola celebration. The traditional Zulu pre-wedding ceremony took place in Newcastle, KwaZulu-Natal, with her fiancé, Zimbabwean businessman Kudzaishe James Magura, by her side.

Videos shared online captured Shozi, often referred to as a "new makoti" (bride), glowing as she celebrated with loved ones. She showcased three distinct outfits throughout the event, with one figure-hugging dress drawing particular attention from followers who noted her radiant appearance.

Shozi's engagement to Magura, who is based in South Africa, followed his proposal during a lavish holiday in Italy in April. The couple shares a family, with Shozi having three children: a son from a previous relationship and two daughters with Andile Mpisane.

While Shozi has yet to share official pictures from the celebration, she alluded to the festivities on her Instagram Stories, humorously noting her tiredness in a way that suggested the intensity of wedding preparations. In a past interview, Shozi had shared her contentment with her personal life, stating, "Things are going well on the personal side too. I am focusing on raising my children now that I have my own little family. I am happy about my engagement."
