Situbondo Awards 75 Paskibraka Members Free Motorcycle Licenses

In a unique display of appreciation, 75 members of the Paskibraka, the elite troop responsible for raising the Indonesian flag, in Situbondo, East Java, have been awarded a free SIM C, the license required to operate motorcycles.

This initiative by the Situbondo regional government and local police force serves as a tangible reward for the young members' dedication and hard work. The Paskibraka members underwent intensive training from July 28 to August 10, culminating in their crucial role during the 81st Indonesian Independence Day ceremony on August 17.

Bupati (Regent) of Situbondo, Yusuf Rio Wahyu Prayogo, stated that the free SIM C cards are a concrete expression of gratitude from the local administration and the police. He acknowledged the significant effort and commitment demonstrated by the Paskibraka during their rigorous training period.

Despite the complimentary nature of the license issuance, Situbondo Police Chief AKBP Bayu Anuwar Sidiqie emphasized that all standard procedures must still be followed. The recipients will undergo the usual theoretical and practical driving tests. To ensure their success, the police plan to provide preparatory training to the 75 Paskibraka members before they take the official tests at the Situbondo Police's SIM Service Unit.
