Small producers can buy up to 2,500 liters of diesel at Bs 9.80

Small producers in Bolivia registered under the Unified Agricultural Regime can now buy diesel at Bs 9.80 per liter, with a monthly limit of 2,500 liters per beneficiary.

The National Hydrocarbons Agency, known as ANH, approved the rules through Administrative Resolution RAN-ANH-DJ-UGJN No. 0041/2026. The regulation covers the authorization and sale of diesel oil to small producers and others.

Beneficiaries can go to service stations and other authorized liquid-fuel outlets. They need to present only a valid identity card, and can continue buying fuel until they reach the monthly limit.

The ANH said it will enforce the rules within its legal authority. The regulation comes as diesel supplies remain a major concern for the productive sector, which has called in recent weeks for larger fuel volumes to sustain agricultural work.

The government presented Supreme Decree 5698 as a response to difficulties small producers faced when trying to access subsidized diesel under the previous conditions. The ANH resolution moves the measure from a decree into practical application at authorized sales points.
