Snigur and Tagger to contest Prague Open final

In the other semifinal, 18-year-old Lilli Tagger, ranked 74th, caused an upset by beating the favored Czech player Barbora Krejcikova, the world number 26. Tagger won the match 6-7, 6-3, 7-6, denying the home crowd a chance to see their compatriot in the final. Krejcikova, a former world number 2, took the first set in a tie-break, but Tagger fought back to win the second set decisively. Tagger then secured her place in the final by winning the deciding tie-break.
