A controversial social media post by Taiwanese socialite Hsu Li-ling has ignited a firestorm of gossip surrounding Hong Kong celebrities Cecilia Cheung, Nicholas Tse, and Faye Wong. Hsu, the wife of the chairman of Taiwan Glass, posted on Facebook late on July 22, detailing alleged long-term mistreatment of Cheung by Tse and Wong.

Hsu's post, which remained online as of the morning of July 23, expressed sympathy for Cheung, stating, "Cheung, you've suffered too much! Your loving father-in-law is gone, you can let it go!" She asserted that Cheung had endured years of hardship, bearing two children for the Tse family and fulfilling filial duties for Tse for two decades while he was estranged from his father, actor Patrick Tse.

The socialite further alleged that Cheung was aware of the reasons for her divorce from Tse, claiming that Tse and Wong conspired against her during their marriage. Hsu's post detailed accusations that the couple allegedly arranged for DNA tests on Cheung's children and that Wong later employed "dark forces and sorcerers" to inflict physical and mental harm on Cheung, driving her to such despair that she prepared a will in her early forties.
