Sojeon Library recruits first class for 'Literary Academy' with lectures by scholar Kim Hwa-young, novelist Lee Seung-woo

Sojeon Library is opening its doors to literature enthusiasts with its inaugural "Literary Academy - Master Class." This program aims to provide a comprehensive cultural experience for the general public, delving into various artistic domains.

The academy is scheduled to run from September 2nd to December 9th, with sessions held every other Wednesday. A total of eight lectures will explore themes across literature, art, music, and film, offering a diverse curriculum. Participants will engage with renowned figures in their respective fields.

Distinguished speakers include French literature scholar Kim Hwa-young, poet and publisher Kim Min-jeong, and literary critics Roja and Park Hye-jin. A highlight of the program will be a special session on September 16th at the "Dunaewon" humanities residency in Hongcheon, led by novelist Lee Seung-woo. This on-site lecture promises an immersive experience in a unique setting.
