Son Heung-min scores fourth straight MLS goal, ties personal record

Son Heung-min continued his scoring form in Major League Soccer, netting his fourth consecutive goal in LA FC's 1-1 draw with Vancouver on Sunday. The South Korean star opened the scoring in the 37th minute with a right-footed shot after receiving a pass from Denis Bouanga.

This goal marked Son's fourth in MLS this season, bringing his total across all competitions to six, including two in the CONCACAF Champions Cup. Since returning to MLS, he has scored in every league match, starting with his first goal against LA Galaxy on April 18, followed by a goal and an assist against Real Salt Lake and another goal against Sporting Kansas City.

With his latest strike, Son equaled his personal best streak of scoring in four consecutive MLS games, a feat he previously achieved from September 14 to September 28 last year. He will aim to extend this record to five games when LA FC hosts San Diego on May 16.

The match ended in a 1-1 draw after Vancouver's Thomas Müller scored an equalizer in the 76th minute. Despite the draw, LA FC maintained its second-place position in the Western Conference, level on points with leaders Vancouver.
