Sony launches premium 1000X THE COLLEXION headphones

Sony Indonesia has introduced the 1000X THE COLLEXION, a new line of premium headphones marking the 10th anniversary of its acclaimed 1000X series. This launch signifies Sony's decade-long commitment to delivering superior listening experiences through a blend of exceptional sound quality, advanced noise-canceling technology, and ergonomic design.

Motoya Itako, President Director of PT Sony Indonesia, stated that the 1000X THE COLLEXION represents a fresh interpretation of the series' philosophy. The headphones feature a premium metal headband paired with synthetic leather, designed for long-term comfort. Larger earcups and a wider head cushion aim to distribute pressure evenly during extended use. The product is available in Platinum and Black color options.

In terms of audio performance, the headphones are equipped with specially developed drivers for clearer separation of instruments and vocals. Sony collaborated with Grammy-winning and nominated mastering engineers to refine the sound signature. The 1000X THE COLLEXION is also the first Sony headphone to feature DSEE Ultimate, an AI-based technology that enhances compressed digital music files by restoring lost sound details.

Additionally, the headphones include the 360 Reality Audio Upmix feature, which transforms stereo content into an immersive spatial audio experience, with dedicated modes for music, movies, and games. Sony has maintained its signature noise-canceling capabilities, utilizing a Multi-Noise Sensor system with 12 microphones and the Adaptive NC Optimizer to adjust noise cancellation based on the surrounding environment. The company also highlighted the product's sustainability, using approximately 25% recycled plastic and plastic-free packaging. Accessibility features, such as clearer left/right markers and tactile button indicators, have also been included.
