Soundrenaline Jakarta 2026 Celebrates Art and Community in Blok M District

Jakarta pulsed with artistic energy as Soundrenaline 2026 kicked off its nationwide tour, transforming the Blok M District into a vibrant hub of music and community. The festival, held July 18-19, 2026, drew approximately 7,000 attendees who immersed themselves in the dynamic atmosphere across five main venues.

Soundrenaline showcased 48 performers, spanning various genres and generations, including four international acts. This diversity is a hallmark of the festival, which musicians say sets it apart from others. Jimi Multhazam, vocalist of The Upstairs, emphasized the importance of supporting edgy, independent artists. "People come to Soundrenaline because they want to discover something new," he stated.

Musicians from Seringai echoed this sentiment, highlighting the strong audience engagement as proof of the festival's success, even with its dispersed "district takeover" format. Singer Danilla also appreciated the personal feel of the stages this year. She described the atmosphere as "homey," akin to a small gig where the raw energy and band essence were palpable. The close proximity between performers and audience allowed for more fluid interactions and expressive sets.
