South Korea: Personnel appointments announced for August 3rd

Several South Korean organizations have announced personnel changes, with appointments and transfers taking effect on August 3rd.

At the Ministry of Meteorological Administration, Park Seung-kyun has been appointed as the International Cooperation Officer in the Planning and Coordination Office.

The Korea Foundation (KF) has also seen several appointments. Ji Chang-sun will lead the Global Business Team 1, Choi Jae-jin will head the ASEAN Culture Center, and Kim Bo-hyun will serve as the Deputy Secretary-General of the Korea-Central Asia Cooperation Forum Secretariat. Han Sung-hee has been appointed as the head of the Berlin office.

Additionally, within the KF, new department heads include Bang Kyung-min for Communications, Woo Byung-guk for Management Support, and Lee Jeong-yeon for Culture and Arts Business.

Yonhap News TV has appointed Jeong Ho-yoon as the Head of the National Desk and concurrently the Head of the International Desk.

At Gyeongin Broadcasting, Kang Min-han has been appointed as the Head of the News Department, Kim Chang-yong as the Head of External Cooperation, and Park Ju-eon as the Head of the Announcer Team.
