South Korean player Baek Chae Rim named Miss Volleyball at VTV9-Binh Dien Cup

Baek Chae Rim, an outside hitter for the Suwon club from South Korea, was named "Miss Volleyball" at the VTV9-Binh Dien Cup 2026. Despite her team's overall poor performance, finishing last in the tournament, Baek Chae Rim stood out as a key player and leading scorer.

Baek Chae Rim, born in 1998, is 1.74 meters tall with a spike reach of 2.8 meters and a block reach of 2.75 meters. She was one of the few experienced players on the Suwon team, which fielded a younger roster for experience and development.

In addition to the "Miss Volleyball" award, other individual accolades were presented. Tran Thi Thanh Thuy and Vi Thi Nhu Quynh received the "Best Outside Hitter" award. Wan Ziyue and Yang Jia of Jiangsu were recognized as "Best Middle Blockers." Vo Thi Kim Thoa of VTV Binh Dien Long An was named "Best Setter," and Zhou Yetong of Jiangsu took home the "Best Opposite Hitter" award. Nguyen Khanh Dang of Hanoi was honored as the "Best Libero."

Pham Quynh Huong of the Information and Communications Department's team also received the "Most Promising Young Player" award. The total prize money for this year's VTV9-Binh Dien Cup amounted to $48,700 USD, over 1.2 billion Vietnamese dong. Separately, Nguyen Lan Vy of the host team, VTV Binh Dien Long An, was voted the most popular player on TikTok, receiving the "Miss TikTok" title.
