Argentina, the runner-up in the recent World Cup and the former No. 1 ranked team, has fallen to second place in the updated rankings. Despite their strong performance in the tournament, their loss in the final cost them their top position.

Other national teams experienced notable shifts in the rankings. Brazil climbed to fifth place, while Morocco achieved its highest-ever ranking, moving up to sixth. Mexico entered the top 10, rising four spots, and Norway saw the most significant jump, climbing 12 places to 19th after reaching the World Cup quarterfinals. France and England maintained their third and fourth positions, respectively.
