Spain to be guest of honor at Latin America's largest entrepreneurship event

Spain will be the guest of honor at 'Emprende Tu Mente Day' (EtM Day), Latin America's largest event connecting investors and entrepreneurs. The event is scheduled to take place in Santiago, Chile, in November.

Spanish Ambassador to Chile, Laura Oroz, announced the participation, expressing gratitude for the presence of "wonderful Spanish entrepreneurship" in Chile. She stated that Spain aims to showcase its success in building an innovation ecosystem, supported by public policy and private enterprise.

EtM Day seeks to connect startups with funding, mainly from private investors. The event is expected to draw over 60,000 attendees to the Parque Bicentenario. Daniel Daccarett, co-founder of the organizing foundation, called Spain's participation "impressive," noting Spain's significant investment in Chile. He believes EtM Day, currently the largest entrepreneurship event in Latin America, could soon become the world's largest.

Ambassador Oroz views the event as an opportunity to reinforce the excellent bilateral relationship between Chile and Spain and to highlight Spain's public investment strategy. She emphasized that innovation and entrepreneurship are key drivers of development and wealth creation, a focus that has been increasingly supported by both public initiatives and the private sector.
