Special farewell for Delta Tigers

Members of the Rewa football team shared a special farewell dinner with family and loved ones in Nausori before their departure for the BiC Fiji FACT tournament. The team left early this morning, heading to Labasa for the competition.

Co-captain Setareki Hughes highlighted the importance of the gathering, emphasizing that the fellowship and support from family members will serve as a major source of motivation throughout the tournament. Having spent weeks focused on preparations, Hughes noted that the dinner provided a fitting send-off as they prepare to represent their district on a significant stage in Fijian football.

"It's good to have all our family here tonight. To have them all come out here and share a meal with the boys before they leave is really going to be a good motivation for the boys," Hughes said. The team is set to play Navua tomorrow at 5 p.m., with live commentaries available on Radio Fiji Two.
