'Spider-Man: Brand New Day' continues its box office dominance, raking in $109 million globally during its fourth weekend. This brings its total worldwide earnings to an impressive $2.22 billion, solidifying its position as the sixth highest-grossing film in history.

The Marvel and Sony production, directed by Destin Daniel Cretton and starring Tom Holland and Zendaya, is now hot on the heels of James Cameron's 'Titanic,' which holds the fifth spot with $2.26 billion. The film's domestic performance was also strong, earning $39 million over the weekend, pushing its North American total to $854.9 million and making it the highest-grossing film of the year in the region.

Internationally, 'Spider-Man: Brand New Day' has achieved a significant milestone, becoming Sony Pictures' highest-grossing release ever in 56 foreign markets. This includes major territories like Brazil, France, the United Kingdom, and South Korea. The film has also surpassed the original theatrical run of 'Star Wars: The Force Awakens,' which grossed $2.07 billion.

According to Rotten Tomatoes, 'Brand New Day' holds the seventh-best fourth weekend in domestic box office history, outperforming the pace of 'The Force Awakens' at the same point in its release.
