St Mary police hunt man over attempted murder of woman in Annotto Bay

St. Mary police are actively seeking a man in connection with the attempted murder of a 51-year-old woman in Forte George, Annotto Bay. The incident occurred Sunday, shortly after midnight, when an argument erupted between the woman and a man known to her at her residence.

During the altercation, the woman was allegedly struck on the head with an object. A substance was then thrown onto her face. Residents discovered her injured around 6 a.m. and transported her to the hospital, where she is currently admitted in serious condition. She sustained severe head and facial injuries, along with extensive burns to her face.
