Stars Align for Poland's Summer Concert Season

Poland's summer concert calendar is set to be packed with a wide array of international and domestic artists, promising a vibrant season for music fans.

The Warsaw Orange Festival, targeting a younger audience, will feature prominent international acts including Lewis Capaldi, whose albums have topped the UK charts, and Dominic Fike, known for his role in "Euphoria" and recent music releases. Olivia Dean, with her album "The Art of Loving" reaching number one in the UK and Australia, will also perform, alongside FKA Twigs and Polish artists like Sokół, Pezet, and Kaz Bałagane.

Rock icon Jack White is scheduled for two performances, one in Warsaw and another in Krakow, on June 1 and 2. These concerts are notable for their "no phone" policy, requiring attendees to store their devices before entry, aiming for a more immersive experience.

Fans of hard rock and alternative music have much to anticipate. Guns N' Roses will return for two concerts in Gliwice in early June, followed by Foo Fighters promoting their new album. PGE Narodowy stadium in Warsaw will host double-header performances from System of a Down and The Weeknd. Additionally, global superstar Bad Bunny and Pitbull are slated to perform at the same venue. Sting and Tom Jones are also set to perform in Sopot.

The renowned Open'er Festival, taking place from July 1-4, will feature headliners The Cure, Nick Cave, and David Byrne. Younger artists like The xx, Calvin Harris, and Martin Garrix will also take the stage, alongside Polish performers Sobel, Vito Bambino, and Kaz Bałagane. Further adding to the summer's musical offerings, Lenny Kravitz will perform in Gdansk in July, and Scorpions will return to Poland for concerts in Gliwice and Lodz. Meanwhile, a unique concert experience featuring Adrian Belew, Tony Levin, Steve Vai, and Danny Carey will take place at Ćmielów Castle, focusing on music from the 80s King Crimson era.
