State Guarantees Rights and Future for Families of TNI Soldiers Fallen in Lebanon

The Indonesian state has affirmed its commitment to the families of the three TNI soldiers who tragically lost their lives during a peacekeeping mission in Lebanon. Through PT Asabri (Persero), a total of Rp1.41 billion in compensation and benefits has been disbursed, ensuring that the families of these fallen heroes receive the support they are due.

This comprehensive package goes beyond immediate financial aid. The government has pledged to secure the future welfare of these families, notably through provisions for the continued education of the soldiers' children. This demonstrates a deep respect for the sacrifices made by Major Inf Anumerta Zulmi Aditya Iskandar, Serka Anumerta Muhammad Nur Ichwan, and Kopda Anumerta Farizal Rhomadhon, who were serving with the Garuda XXIII-S/UNIFIL contingent.

PT Asabri's Director, Jeffry Haryadi PM, expressed condolences and highlighted the company's role as the state's representative in ensuring protection for the bereaved. "We mourn the loss of the nation's best sons. We move together with the government to ensure that the families left behind receive certainty of protection through the fulfillment of real and impactful rights and benefits," he stated.

The nation paid its respects with a formal ceremony led by President Prabowo Subianto at Soekarno-Hatta International Airport upon the return of the soldiers' remains. Military funerals were held in their respective hometowns, with senior TNI officials presiding. Asabri has ensured that all beneficiary rights are processed promptly, providing security through Work Accident Insurance (JKK) and Old Age Savings (THT) programs. The total benefits received by the families ranged from over Rp457 million to Rp496.28 million per soldier, including insurance and scholarship funds, underscoring Indonesia's dedication to caring for the families of those who serve.

The sacrifice of the soldier becomes a mandate for Asabri to take care of their family's future. In accordance with laws and regulations, soldiers who die in duty are entitled to protection from the state through the Work Accident Insurance (JKK) and Old Age Savings (THT) programs.
