Storm damages Vilnius buildings, collapses scaffolding

A severe storm in Vilnius has caused significant damage, including the collapse of scaffolding and construction equipment on Kalinausko Street. Strong winds tore down the scaffolding and other materials from a building currently under construction.

Emergency services, including police and firefighters, were dispatched to the scene. Initial reports indicate no injuries have occurred, and major damage has not been reported. The area has been secured to ensure public safety.

In a separate incident, the "Business Stadium Central" business center, an architecturally distinct building located on Rinktinės Street, also suffered damage from the storm. Part of the roof structure was ripped away by the wind and is now being blown around at ground level. Photos of the damaged building are available.
