Student groups clash at Dhaka Alia Madrasah, several injured

A violent clash between student activists from Jatiyatabadi Chhatra Dal (JCD) and Islami Chhatra Shibir resulted in several injuries at Government Madrasah-e-Alia, commonly known as Dhaka Alia Madrasah. The incident occurred in the Bakshibazar area, escalating tensions on campus.

Reports indicate the conflict stemmed from a dispute over control of the institution's residential halls. The confrontation saw activists from both groups allegedly armed with pipes and sticks, and in some instances, locally made weapons, as seen in social media videos depicting chases across the campus.
