Student Memorizes 29 Quran Chapters in One Year at Indonesian Islamic Boarding School

The Haflah Takrim Tahfidz Al-Qur'an XIII ceremony at Baitul Quran Pesantren Daarut Tauhiid (DT) Indonesia was a moment of deep emotion and gratitude. Among the graduates was Hafsah An-Najla, a student from Magetan, East Java, who achieved a remarkable feat by memorizing 29 chapters of the Quran in just one year.

This accomplishment is a testament to Hafsah's perseverance and unwavering spirit throughout the Tahfidzul Qur'an program. She views her opportunity to study and memorize the Quran as a profound blessing. "I feel grateful to have been given the opportunity by the Almighty to memorize the Quran," Hafsah shared. "I also thank everyone who gave me the chance to memorize the Quran, especially the donors and the teachers who guided me during my studies. I hope what I have gained here will be beneficial to myself and others."

The success of students like Hafsah is significantly bolstered by the support of their families and programs like the scholarship initiative. Hamzah, a guardian of a Baitul Quran student, highlighted the tangible benefits of the scholarship, particularly the tahfidz program and other character-building activities. "Alhamdulillah, with this scholarship program, we have felt many benefits," he said. "Especially from the tahfidz program, the teaching and learning activities, and various other trainings that greatly influence the child's character. Many changes are visible, especially in their morals, discipline, and attitude. Our hope is that the children who participate in this program in the future can become warriors of religion and be beneficial to many people."

Hamzah also extended his gratitude to the donors supporting the Baitul Quran scholarship program, praying for increased blessings. "May Allah increase the blessings for Baitul Quran Daarut Tauhiid, the donors, and all parties involved in this scholarship program," he added. After completing the Tahfidzul Qur'an program, Hafsah is set to embark on a new phase of her journey, joining DT Peduli Jatim. This move signifies her commitment to applying the knowledge she has acquired and extending its benefits to a broader segment of society.
