Student targeted by truck with 'Serbia Wins' slogan: No contact from police or prosecution

Jovan Milovac, the student who bravely confronted a truck bearing the slogan "Serbia Wins" in Kupinovo on August 12, stated that neither the police nor the prosecution have contacted him regarding the incident. Milovac reported the event at the local police station in Pećinci but has heard nothing since.

Milovac indicated that students are still gathering information about the truck's driver and the circumstances surrounding the incident. He mentioned that the driver identified himself as the owner of the firm "Žabac" and the vehicle. While students have obtained information about the man's identity from locals, Milovac declined to comment further on these details for now.

He plans to discuss potential legal actions with his lawyer and fellow students who were present that day. "I need to see with the lawyer what we will do, as well as with colleagues who were with me that day – whether we will undertake something together or individually," Milovac said.

According to Milovac, the truck driver not only endangered students with his vehicle but also verbally threatened some female students. "He didn't threaten me that much, apart from the action with the truck, but he really threatened the female colleagues verbally. That's why we will see if we will initiate proceedings together or if everyone will file a report individually," he added. The truck, a tipper with license plates RU 152-VJ, reportedly had the "Serbia Wins" slogan displayed on it.
