Students Light Up Rural Campuses with LED Upgrades

Students from Dahu Agricultural and Industrial Vocational High School have partnered with the TSMC Charity Foundation to undertake a "Public Welfare Green Energy - LED Lighting Installation Project." This initiative involves replacing outdated lighting fixtures with energy-efficient LEDs in three rural schools within the county: Tongxiao Junior High School, Daxi Junior High School, and Wenshui Elementary School. The goal is to create healthier and more comfortable learning environments for the younger students.

The project is supported by the TSMC Charity Foundation, with seven students from the school's cooperative education program volunteering for the task. Working under the intense summer heat, these students, clad in their work attire, experienced clothes that were "wet and dry" as they climbed aluminum ladders to install the new lights. Guided by professional personnel and their teachers, they overcame any fear of heights, demonstrating a solid vocational spirit. Beyond accumulating practical experience and learning about high-altitude work safety, the students also received stipends, providing financial support for their families.
