Support for BN Will Be Proven Only When Ballot Boxes Open, Says President

Any claims of support for Barisan Nasional (BN) will only be validated when the ballot boxes are opened on July 11, according to BN President Datuk Seri Dr. Ahmad Zahid Hamidi. He stated that BN respects the positions of other political coalitions, including PAS's call for voters to reject Pakatan Harapan (PH).

PAS President Tan Sri Abdul Hadi Awang had previously urged voters not to support Pakatan Harapan (PH) in the Johor state election, particularly in seats with straight fights between BN and PH. Zahid, however, dismissed perceptions that the Johor election campaign is subdued, asserting that BN is actively campaigning with a lively atmosphere.
