Suspected Arms Dealer Arrested in Germany; 3D Printers Seized

Authorities in Baden-Württemberg, Germany, have arrested a 46-year-old man suspected of being a major arms dealer. The arrest occurred Tuesday in the Knielingen district of Karlsruhe following an operation involving special forces. Police and prosecutors allege the suspect was involved in manufacturing and distributing weapons through the darknet.

During the search of the suspect's residence, law enforcement officers discovered four 3D printers, which are believed to have been used in the illicit weapon production. In addition to the printers, officers confiscated cannabis, numerous data storage devices, and other technical equipment associated with arms manufacturing. The suspect was subsequently brought before a judge, who ordered his pre-trial detention.
