Suspicious Death of Mother of Five Investigated in Turkey's Şanlıurfa

Authorities in Şanlıurfa, Turkey, are investigating the death of a woman whose body was found in her apartment after neighbors reported a strong smell emanating from the residence. The incident occurred in the Bamyasuyu neighborhood of the Haliliye district.

Emergency services were dispatched to the five-story building after residents alerted the 112 Emergency Call Center. Upon entering the apartment on the top floor, police and medical teams found Refah Kadour, a foreign national, unresponsive. Medical personnel confirmed her death at the scene.

Kadour, who was a mother of five, had reportedly divorced approximately one year prior to her death. Her body was transported to the morgue of the Forensic Medicine Institute for an autopsy to ascertain the precise cause of her demise. Police have initiated an investigation into the circumstances surrounding her death.
