Sven Pocrnić wins 'Your Face Sounds Familiar' amid girlfriend's emotional tribute

Sven Pocrnić has been crowned the winner of the tenth season of the popular Croatian imitation show, "Tvoje lice zvuči poznato" (Your Face Sounds Familiar). The victory was met with overwhelming emotion from his girlfriend, Marija Vuletić, who shared a heartfelt tribute on social media.

He truly gave his soul to this TLZP journey, and it was a great honor to follow it all, both on recordings and television, and through the entire process behind the scenes.

Vuletić expressed profound pride in Pocrnić's dedication, passion, and love for every project he undertakes. She described witnessing his journey on the show as a great honor, encompassing not only the televised performances but also the behind-the-scenes process. "I don't know when I've cried so much," she wrote, emphasizing the depth of her emotional response to his success.

Pocrnić, a young singer and musician, won the competition by imitating Marija Šerifović. He reflected on his experience, highlighting the unique journey shared with the other eight contestants. He stated that the talent and support of his fellow participants motivated him weekly to improve, making the experience more than just a competition.

Participation in the show, I will remember most the people with whom I had the opportunity to share that experience. The eight of us contestants went through a truly unique journey together, and I was lucky to be part of this 10th season and be surrounded by extremely talented and kind people who motivated me week after week to be better than I was the previous week.

Looking back, Pocrnić mentioned that the most challenging transformation was impersonating Britney Spears due to the complex vocal, choreography, and technical demands. However, he also found it one of the most enjoyable, pushing his boundaries as a performer. He admitted that the win still felt surreal, especially surrounded by people who supported and challenged him throughout the thirteen weeks.

The most demanding for me was becoming pop princess Britney Spears, primarily because I had to combine several areas that are not natural to me at the same time. Her specific voice, demanding choreography, costume, wig, and all the technical adjustments that had to withstand the entire performance presented a great challenge.
