Swedish Coach Tommy Samuelsson to Lead Danish Men's Ice Hockey Team

The Danish men's national ice hockey team has appointed Swedish coach Tommy Samuelsson as its new head coach. Samuelsson takes over from Mikael Gath, who departed the role in May. The announcement was made by the Danish Ice Hockey Union.

Samuelsson, 66, brings a wealth of experience, having coached for 27 years at top levels in Sweden, Switzerland, Germany, and Austria. His most recent position was with Timrå in the top Swedish league. He officially begins his duties on August 1.
