SYM's New 125cc Scooter Expected with Fuel-Saving Technology, Nearing 63km/L Efficiency

Sanyang Motor (SYM) is poised to release an updated Fiddle 125 scooter, featuring significant advancements in fuel efficiency. Recent tests by the energy agency show the scooter achieving an impressive average fuel consumption of nearly 63 kilometers per liter, a substantial improvement over the current model's 60.2 km/L.

This leap in fuel economy is anticipated to stem from the integration of SYM's latest technologies. The new Fiddle 125 is expected to adopt the electric drive ZRSG3.0 system, which combines a motor and generator to provide electric assistance during acceleration. This system aims to smooth out power delivery and enhance low-speed responsiveness. Additionally, the incorporation of EnMIS dual-spark plug technology is expected to further optimize fuel consumption, particularly in stop-and-go city traffic, while maintaining strong performance and improving riding comfort.

The current Fiddle 125 model already boasts a respectable feature set, particularly appealing to its target market of female riders. It includes elegant LED headlights and taillights, a light-sensing smart instrument panel, a zero-rebound suspension system, and a convenient QC3.0 USB charging port. The upcoming model's enhanced fuel efficiency, combined with these existing amenities, is likely to make it a highly competitive offering in the scooter market.
