SYRIZA – Progressive Alliance is continuing its "coordinated path" and is preparing for the upcoming electoral battle, according to a statement from the party's Political Secretariat. The secretariat affirmed that the decisions made by the Central Committee on July 11 marked a significant turning point for the party.

The SYRIZA – Progressive Alliance continues its coordinated path. The decision of the Central Committee on July 11 was a turning point in our journey so far. We will be present and participate in the electoral battle, implementing the decisions of the 5th congress.

"SYRIZA-PS, as a party of the modern Left, enters the battle with its programmatic, ideological arsenal, with the rich human resources of the Left, with the heavy legacy of our history, but also of the governance of 2015-2019," the statement read. The party indicated that the upcoming Saturday would mark the end of a period of ambiguity, ushering in a "new necessary unity" for left-wing forces.
