Tainan City's market department has released a "traditional market zongzi map" to guide residents in sampling the city's diverse offerings of the traditional Dragon Boat Festival food. The map details 29 vendors across 20 markets selling various types of zongzi, from classic meat and vegetarian options to sweet and specialty varieties.

The Dragon Boat Festival is a traditional seasonal food. The market department has compiled a "zongzi map" of 20 markets in the city and 29 vendors selling zongzi. Residents can visit the markets to purchase them for offerings, gifts, or family gatherings.

Market department acting director Lin Shih-chun highlighted the variety available, including "Lianhua Vegetarian" at Xigang Public Retail Market, known for its glutinous rice dumplings filled with peanuts and served with a special sauce and fried peanut powder. Another featured vendor, "Manyue Oil Rice" at Chongyi Market, offers a wide selection of traditional meat, mushroom, chestnut, vegetarian, and multigrain zongzi.

Anping Public Retail Market's "Mama Fang Vegetarian" specializes in handmade vegetarian zongzi made with natural ingredients like red beans, barley, peanuts, and multigrain, emphasizing both taste and health. The department encourages residents to visit local markets to purchase zongzi for ancestral offerings, gifts, or family gatherings, experiencing the warmth and traditional flavors of Tainan.
