Yamaha RS Neo Gets Matte Finish Options From Cygnus X

Yamaha Taiwan has introduced new color options for its RS Neo scooter, bringing popular matte finishes from the 7th generation Cygnus X to the more accessible model. The new "Shibuya Blue," "Nightfall Black," and "Mineral White" colors aim to appeal to younger riders seeking agile handling and personalized aesthetics.

The "Shibuya Blue" features a light blue body with vibrant fluorescent yellow accents, creating a lively visual effect. "Nightfall Black" combines dark gray and matte black with fluorescent green highlights. "Mineral White" offers a simpler style with a white body and subtle purple elements, catering to diverse preferences.

The RS Neo's design incorporates Yamaha's R-series sportbike DNA, with an aggressive front end and flowing lines that give it a dynamic appearance, distinguishing it from typical commuter scooters. Its lightweight design, with a dry weight of only 88 kg and a low seat height of 735mm, enhances its urban maneuverability.

Equipped with a Blue Core engine, the RS Neo balances acceleration for daily use with fuel efficiency, achieving 57.9 km/liter. The scooter also features a smart starter system, a front single two-piston caliper, and a UBS linked braking system for a comfortable and safe urban riding experience. Yamaha also offers optional upgrades, including adjustable nitrogen rear shock absorbers.
