Taipei International Food Show opens; Penghu Pavilion showcases local products

The Taipei International Food Show, a significant platform for the Asian food industry, has opened its doors, showcasing the rich agricultural and fishery products of Penghu. Fourteen local businesses have come together to form the Penghu Pavilion, presenting the island's abundant marine resources, distinctive produce, and established brands.

Penghu County Council Speaker Chen Yu-jen encouraged the public to explore the pavilion, emphasizing the high quality of Penghu's products, which are nurtured by the region's unique marine environment. He noted that through the collective efforts of the county government, council, and local industries, Penghu's brands have gained market recognition.

This exhibition is seen as a vital opportunity for Penghu's agricultural and fishery sector to broaden its market access and boost brand awareness. The pavilion features renowned brands like Tianhe Aquaculture and Penghu Bo, exhibiting fresh seafood, processed foods, and diverse agricultural products. The event also saw the presence of Penghu County Deputy Magistrate Lin Chieh-hsing and Pengcheng Chairman Tsai Wan-sheng, demonstrating strong support for local industries and brand promotion.
