Taiwan issues heavy rain advisory for southern regions, warns of thunderstorms

Taiwan's Central Weather Administration has issued a heavy rain advisory for southern Taiwan, warning of potential thunderstorms and intense downpours. Areas including Tainan, Kaohsiung, and Pingtung are particularly at risk. The severe weather alert is in effect, with specific warnings for certain districts and townships within Tainan, Kaohsiung, and Pingtung.
