Tan Sri Lim Hock San Honored with ASEAN Lifetime Achievement Award

Tan Sri Ir. Dr. Lim Hock San, the Executive Chairman of LBS Bina Group Berhad, has been selected to receive the prestigious ASEAN Outstanding Business Award 2026 for Lifetime Achievement in Visionary Business Leadership & Community Excellence. The award ceremony will be held at the Sunway Resort Hotel in Kuala Lumpur.

This recognition celebrates decades of business excellence and significant contributions to national development and the progress of the ASEAN region. The award honors leading business figures for their sustained achievements that extend beyond corporate success, encompassing meaningful social impact, fostering regional cooperation, and strengthening community development throughout ASEAN.

Lim Hock San has guided LBS from a local construction company to a prominent property developer with a diverse portfolio. This includes residential, commercial, industrial, hospitality, and retail sectors. During his acceptance speech, he shared the values of integrity, perseverance, humility, and responsibility that have shaped his leadership and continue to define LBS.

He emphasized that development is not just about building structures but also about creating opportunities, improving livelihoods, and building communities where individuals can thrive. Lim expressed gratitude for the opportunity to contribute to Malaysia's growth and the overall development of ASEAN communities. Under his leadership, LBS has developed over 58,000 residential units, creating vibrant communities and positively impacting more than 200,000 Malaysians.
