Mehmet A., identified as a teacher working for the Ministry of National Education, was apprehended when he arrived to claim the unattended bag at Alsancak Train Station. Inside, police found three cameras concealed in buttons, a laptop, two smartphones, two internet routers, wireless earphones, a USB hub, and other technical gear. Mehmet A. was detained on suspicion of violating Law No. 6114 on the Turkish Higher Education Council (YÖK) and the Measurement, Selection and Placement Center (ÖSYM).
