Team chemistry vital says Fijiana captain

Vodafone Fijiana XV captain Kolora Lomani believes team chemistry is paramount as the squad integrates several new and younger players. She highlighted the importance of the players' bond, especially when facing a Tier One nation like South Africa.

Lomani stated that the senior and new players have successfully blended over recent weeks, forging a strong connection in preparation for their match against the Springboks. The team is determined to perform well and prove their capabilities on the international stage.

"The bond within the team has been really strong and we bonded well this week," Lomani said. "Again it’s all about learning together, especially with the game last weekend being the first test for us as a whole new group and it’s a big learning for us. Some of the girls are new to this international level of rugby, so again it’s a learning process for us and we’ll just move on from here."

The Fijiana will play South Africa at Churchill Park in Lautoka on Saturday at 2 p.m. The match will be broadcast live on FBC Sports.
