Technician Dies After Motorcycle Collides with Car

A fatal collision at a traffic light intersection in Bandar Tun Hussein Onn has claimed the life of an 18-year-old technician. The incident occurred around 11:30 p.m. on Tuesday when the motorcycle the teenager was riding collided with a car.

Kajang District Police Chief, Assistant Commissioner Naazron Abdul Yusof, stated that initial investigations indicate the car, driven by a 67-year-old retiree, was traveling from Jalan Suadamai and entered the Lebuh Utama intersection. The motorcycle was approaching from the opposite direction. The car driver sustained no injuries.

The victim was pronounced dead at the scene and his body was subsequently transported to Serdang Hospital for a post-mortem examination. The case is being investigated under Section 41(1) of the Road Transport Act 1987, which carries penalties of five to 10 years imprisonment and a fine of RM20,000 to RM50,000 upon conviction.
