Teenager found guilty in London of Iran-linked murder plot

A 19-year-old man has been convicted in London for his role in a murder plot allegedly orchestrated by Iran. The court determined that the teenager agreed to carry out a shooting for a payment of 25,000 Euros last year. The identity of the intended victim remains unclear.

The suspect was apprehended in March of the previous year at a hotel in Huddersfield, located northeast of Manchester. During his arrest, authorities discovered a semi-automatic pistol, a revolver, and 19 rounds of ammunition hidden beneath his bed.

According to judicial sources, the assassination contract originated from the criminal organization Foxtrot, based in Sweden. Britain has imposed sanctions on this group and its leader, Rawa Majid, who are accused of orchestrating destabilizing activities on behalf of the Iranian regime. Foxtrot member, operating under the codename "Agent 47," reportedly offered the 19-year-old the sum of 25,000 Euros for the murder in Britain. Evidence from the teenager's phone revealed detailed instructions, including maps, photos, and videos showing the location of the weapons. He had also communicated with a Norwegian friend, stating that the weapons had not been tested, "They will be tested on the guy."
