Telkom University and NUS Forge Partnership to Boost Digital Talent and Global Innovation

Telkom University (TelU) and the National University of Singapore (NUS) have formalized a strategic partnership to cultivate digital talent and innovation, aligning with Indonesia's national digital transformation goals. The collaboration, marked by a recently signed Memorandum of Understanding, aims to bridge the gap between academia and industry.

The initiative, spurred by the Indonesian Coordinating Ministry for Economic Affairs, seeks to enhance the competitiveness of Indonesian human resources in the digital economy. Seno Soemadji, Director of Strategic & Business Development at Telkom, emphasized that digital transformation requires not only infrastructure but also world-class talent and a robust innovation ecosystem. This partnership is seen as a crucial step in connecting Indonesian talent with global networks and best practices.

The scope of cooperation is extensive, covering graduate certificate programs, student and faculty mobility, joint research, and collaborative efforts in fields such as Artificial Intelligence (AI), digital business, sustainability, Internet of Things (IoT), cybersecurity, logistics and supply chain management, data centers, and cloud computing. Through these diverse programs, both institutions anticipate a significant exchange of knowledge and enhanced research capabilities, ultimately producing talent better equipped for the rapidly evolving digital industry.

This partnership with NUS is a key component of Telkom's strategy to bolster digital talent development and research capacity relevant to industry demands.
