TelkomGroup Distributes 910 Sacrificial Animals for Idul Adha

TelkomGroup, through its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program, has distributed 910 sacrificial animals for the Idul Adha 1447 H celebration. This initiative saw 232 cows and 678 goats provided to communities across Indonesia.

The total weight of the distributed animals reached 114,739 kilograms, intended for 62,469 beneficiaries. These recipients include the underprivileged, residents near company operational areas, and vulnerable groups affected by natural disasters. The distribution was a collaborative effort involving Telkom, Telkomsel, other subsidiaries, and employee contributions.

Telkom's CEO, Dian Siswarini, stated that the program aims to ensure the happiness of Idul Adha is shared by all members of society. She emphasized that Idul Adha is an opportune moment to enhance care and foster sincerity through synergy within TelkomGroup. She particularly highlighted the importance of reaching vulnerable and disaster-affected populations.

Willy Saelan, Telkom's Director of Human Capital Management, added that the spirit of sharing during Idul Adha reflects the company's core values, which prioritize social care. He expressed hope that the aid would bring broad benefits and strengthen the bond between the company and the community.

The initiative, themed "The Spirit of Qurban as a Path to Social Piety Transformation," was well-received by beneficiaries. A representative from a scavenger community in Bantar Gebang expressed gratitude, noting the significant impact of the aid. The program involved various internal committees and followed government guidelines for slaughter and distribution.
