TelkomGroup Distributes 910 Sacrificial Animals for Iduladha

PT Telkom Indonesia (Persero) Tbk, along with its subsidiaries including Telkomsel, has distributed 910 sacrificial animals, comprising 232 cows and 678 goats/sheep, to communities across Indonesia in observance of Iduladha 1447 H. The initiative, themed 'The Spirit of Qurban Can Be a Path to Social Piety Transformation,' involved a total animal weight of 114,739 kilograms, intended for 62,469 beneficiaries.

The distribution was a collaborative effort involving Telkom, Telkomsel, other subsidiaries, and employee contributions. Telkom itself provided 185 animals, Telkomsel 459, combined subsidiaries 148, and employees contributed 118.

Dian Siswarini, President Director of Telkom, emphasized the importance of the Iduladha moment for fostering care and mutual cooperation. "Through the distribution of these sacrificial animals, we want to ensure that the joy of Iduladha can be felt by all communities, especially vulnerable groups and our brothers and sisters affected by natural disasters," she stated during the symbolic handover event.

Telkom's Human Capital Management Director, Willy Saelan, highlighted that the spirit of sharing during Iduladha reflects the company's core values, which prioritize social care. "Through the collaboration of all employees, subsidiaries, and various parties, we hope this aid will provide broad benefits and strengthen the sense of togetherness between the company and the community," he said.

The program also involved various religious bodies within TelkomGroup, with the slaughtering and distribution adhering to government guidelines and local conditions. Beneficiary communities, such as the waste collector community in Bantar Gebang, Bekasi, expressed gratitude for the assistance, noting its significant meaning and hoped for wider impact.
