Temperatures to drop sharply in Kazakhstan

Kazakhstan is set to experience a dramatic change in weather over the coming days. Forecasters predict widespread rain and thunderstorms across most of the country, with the potential for heavy precipitation, hail, and squalls in certain areas.

However, a Scandinavian anticyclone is expected to bring mostly clear and dry conditions to western Kazakhstan. As this system moves eastward, these dry conditions will spread, leading to a significant drop in daytime temperatures nationwide. In the west, temperatures will range from 16°C to 24°C. Northern regions will see highs between 12°C and 20°C, while central areas will experience temperatures from 17°C to 25°C.

In contrast, the southern and southeastern parts of the country will remain under the influence of a warm air mass. These regions are expected to have mostly dry weather, with daytime temperatures climbing between 30°C and 37°C. This contrast highlights the diverse weather patterns Kazakhstan will face.
