Teni releases ‘The Wellness Package’ EP

Award-winning Nigerian singer and songwriter Teni has launched her latest extended play (EP), 'The Wellness Package,' signaling a new chapter centered on personal development, healing, and community.

The six-track project draws from Teni's recent personal experiences, portraying wellness as a lifestyle encompassing love, laughter, self-care, and meaningful human connections. This release also signifies the commencement of Teni's strategic alliance with Gamma, aimed at broadening her creative horizons and international presence.

Larry Jackson, Founder and CEO of Gamma, lauded Teni as an exceptional artist with a unique ability to connect with diverse audiences. Sipho Dlamini, President of Gamma Africa, noted Teni's consistent elevation of African music and culture through authentic narratives and artistic excellence. 'The Wellness Package' includes collaborations with prominent Nigerian artists such as rapper Olamide, singer Chike, and the highlife duo The Cavemen. Notable tracks include "Zion," featuring Olamide, and "Wuru Maya," featuring Chike.

Speaking about the EP's inspiration, Teni shared that it reflects her refreshed mindset and positive outlook. "It is just how I was feeling. It was a new year. I was feeling the energy. You can pause but never stop," she stated. Complementing the music, Teni has initiated a fan-centric campaign featuring a cinematic teaser, the "Wellness Package Run Club," a treasure hunt for exclusive wellness boxes, and an immersive listening party, all designed to encourage physical activity, community interaction, and shared experiences beyond music.
